Day 01, Arrival in Paro
On your arrival at Paro international airport, you will receive a garland welcome by our representative who will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Later, you will be allowed to check the bikes and ride around the city to get hands-on exposure on bikes. In the evening, you will stroll through the local markets of Paro. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02, Paro -Punakha
The next attraction of the tour is Punakha. Enjoy the breakfast in the morning then leave for Punakha. En-route, stop at Dochula pass where you can tea with snacks and have a beautiful view of snow-capped peaks and lush greenery. Later continue your journey towards Punakha. Once you reach, check-in at the camp and leave to explore the prominent attractions of Punakha inducing Chimi Lhakhang, Punakha Dzong, and others. In the evening, enjoy yourself with incredible natural beauty of Punakha. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03, Punakha – Village Biking/Hiking- Punakha
Enjoy the breakfast in the morning and then leave for an hour of trekking towards Khamsum Chorten. Here, you will get to see an incredible view of the valley. Later, you will leave for a biking tour to the nearby villages which are located on the banks of river Pho Chu river. In the afternoon, enjoy the lunch and visit to Limukha village which is one of the beautiful villages in the country. Later in the evening, you will drive back to Punakha. Moreover today, you can spend a night in Farm House to get the experience. After dinner, stay overnight at the camp.
Day 04, Punakha – Gangtey
On the 4th day of the tour, you will leave for Gantey. On the way to Gantey, visit JSW National Park and pass through Labanla pass. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel/camp. Later, leave to visit ancient Gangtey Gompa monastery and stroll through to the nature path. Here, you will also get to see many migrated birds including black-necked cranes. It is said that these birds migrate in winters from the Tibetan plateau and hold a special place in Himalayan Buddhist culture. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel/camp.
Day 05, Gangtey-Trongsa
After breakfast in the morning, you will ride for your next destination which is Trongsa. It takes around four hours to reach Trongsa. You will pass through Pele La pass which offers an incredible view of snowcapped mountains. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel/camp and then visit Trongsa Dzong. This is one most visited Buddhist monasteries in the region. Later, visit Watchtower and a museum located inside it. The evening is free to enjoy your own activities. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06, Trongsa- Jangbi trek -Kubdra
The next attraction in the loop is Jangbi trek. After breakfast, you ride towards Jangbi and then two hours of hiking to reach Jangbi village. This trek is full of dense forests where you get to see species of birds, hornbill, monkeys (Langurs), and others. En-route, also see the stone imprints of Guru Rinpoche. Later continue your trek towards Kubdra. Today’s trek is filled with adventure and thrills. Upon arrival at Kubdra, check-in at the camp. Later, enjoy the campfire, followed by a delicious dinner. After dinner, stay overnight at the camp.
Day 07, Kubdra – Nabji trek
Enjoy the delicious breakfast in the morning and then leave for Nabji trek. Today’s trek is a mixture of streams, waterfalls, dense forests, clippers, orchids, flora and fauna. Moreover, you will get to see many wildlife creatures such as Himalayan Squirrels, Rhesus Macaques, Himalayan black bears, Red pandas, tigers, leopards and much more. Upon arrival at Nabji, check-in at the camp. The Nabji village is surrounded by terraced rice fields and greenery all around. Later visit local temple and other attractions in the village. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08, Nabji – Korphu & Tingtibi
After breakfast in the morning, you will drive to the next trekking destination, Korphu. The place is situated at an altitude of 1,500m above sea level. Explore the beautiful Korphu village and explore the culture and lifestyle of local people. Later, ride down towards Tingtibi via passing through Nimshong village and other beautiful attractions. After reaching Tingtibi, check-in at the camp which is located on the banks of the river. The riverside camping makes the tour more remarkable and astonishing.
Day 09, Tingtibi – Gelephu
Get up early in the morning and go for a birding in the nearby area of Tingtibi and Shemgang. Later, come back to your camp, enjoy the breakfast, backpack your bags and leave for Gelephu. It takes around four hours of riding and trekking to reach Gelephu. En-route, stop at some villages to refresh yourself or to witness beautiful views. Upon arrival, check-in at the camp. In the evening, you will stroll through the streets of Gelegphu town, followed by traditional dinner. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10, Gelephu-Tshirang-Wangdue
After a delicious breakfast in the morning, you will move towards the plains from mountains and first place in the plains to visit is Sarbang town. From here, you will again start trekking and leave for the hilltop town of Tsirang. The two hours trek has a lot to offer including beautiful views, visiting villages, experiencing local culture and much more. Enjoy your lunch at Tshirang and then further continue your trek towards Wangdue. During the trek of Wangdue, you will get to walk by the parallel of the Sunkosh River. After reaching, check-in at the camp, enjoy dinner and then stay overnight.
Day 11, Wangdue – Thimphu
After breakfast in the morning, you will drive for the next destination, Thimphu. On the way, stop at Dochula pass to enjoy delicious snacks and tea. En-route, you will also visit a Lungchuzekha monastery which has got an incredible view. Later continue your journey towards the Thimphu city. Upon arrival, check-in at the pre-booked hotel. In the evening, you can visit Tashicho Dzong which is one of the most visited monasteries in the city. Later enjoy the dinner at any traditional restaurant. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 12, Thimphu-Paro
Post breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel and leave for next destination which is Paro. On the way to Paro, visit a local village to experience their lifestyle and culture. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is leisure to enjoy your own. In the evening, take a stroll in the lively markets of Paro. Later, return back to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight.
Day 13, Paro -Takstang hike- Paro
Today, you will hike to Taktsang, also known as the Tiger’s Nest monastery. Tiger’s Nest is one of the popular pilgrimages destinations in the country. Spend your whole with strolling nearby places to the monastery. Later in the afternoon, you will return back to Paro. In the evening, explore the markets of Paro where you can buy some handcraft products. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel in Paro.
Day 14, Paro (departure)
Your Bhutan Nature Tour comes to an end today. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board a flight for a further destination.
