Ubud - Kuta

Overview

Kuta Beach is one of Bali's busiest beach resort destinations. It’s about 6 km north of Ngurah Rai International Airport, while the beaches Tuban, Legian and Seminyak are all within walking distance. Hotels along Kuta Beach are often fully booked over the peak seasons, usually from July to August and during year-end holidays like Christmas and New Year.

Kuta’s nightlife scene comes alive once the sun sets, with some of Bali’s popular restaurants, bars and clubs found along Jalan Pantai Kuta and Jalan Kartika Plaza. Kuta Beach is rather popular for surfing and sunbathing – head there early to claim the best spot on the sand. You’ll also find pristine Hindu shrines and a significant Buddhist temple in central Kuta.
